Pakistani women / families’ view on arab men?

Wondering what pakistani women, and pakistani families in general, views are on marrying gulf arab men.

Friend of mine proposed to a pakistani woman (traditional way, weren’t dating first theyre coworkers), and her family declined.

This could very well be just that they dont want HIM, but it also made me wonder what the consensus is on marrying gulf men. Especially because a pakistani friend said there’s no way a pakistani dad is accepting a gulf arab into his family, tho he was born and raised in europe so maybe it’s different.
