Infamy oh infamy

I got the game yesterday evening and, well, it's 5am... The sun is coming up so i better pull the curtains, you know...

One thing i do wonder about - how are you dealing with the infamy stuff? I'm thinking i want to lay low until i have established some connections and we can pull some weight, so i'm avoiding ie the bad guys descecrating a shrine by the side of the read, or destroying blood barrels, stuff like that.

Is this ok or does it not really matter? The hottie witch said i should keep it on the down low for a while, so that's what i thought i should do.
