Korean people in Bar areas
I don't go to Hongdae. It's too crowded and doesn't really match my vibe. Last week, I went to the pocha, street pub area in Jongno, and every time I go there, I feel like the Korean men in the area come across as intimidating.
Many of them were like men who gave off a gangster vibe. Their shoulders and forearms were large and covered in tattoos.
I visited Korea three years ago, and back then I didn't get this kind of feeling in the area.
Has the culture changed?
Don't get me wrong. They didn't do me any harm. I happened to have a conversation with some of them, and actually they were very kind. However, somehow I didn't continue the conversation with them on Instagram.
