Can’t tell if I made up my own cannon or if Wonder Woman isn’t bulletproof

In my head I’ve always seen WW as bulletproof but uses her bracelets because as a warrior she never wants to get hit even if she knows it won’t affect her. Now I have no idea if that can be traced to the comics or if I made that up. I have seen that silly comic strip on why WW doesn’t like getting hit with bullets but for the fans out there has the majority of WW stories made her bullet proof or not?
