Should I end it?
I'll be filtering some of the information for privacy, but I F 18, and my bf M 18, have been dating for over two years. We're both attending different colleges, and I would have to fly over 5 hours just to see him. I broke up with him right before June, but we rekindled and quickly got back together in the middle of July. I had many doubts and was honestly scared to trust again, but we've always been people who are there for the other and it's very clear we're both putting in a lot of effort to try and make the other person feel connected and happy. That being said, I knew there were many unresolved issues that would take time to heal and learn from, this is one of the main doubts that I had before deciding to get back together with him. However, now he's been in school for about 3 weeks, and he didn't text me for about 3 whole days. I'm not the most clingy person, but I do appreciate communication and a text once a day would be nice. He later goes to tell me that he feels like he can't be himself around me, that he feels like he can finally be who he really is at his new school, and that whenever he goes to text me it makes him hate himself, because he feels like he's lying. He says it feels like I'm forcing him to change these parts of himself, but I've felt out of the loop for so long about many parts of his life, that I thought these things were in response to him not being comfortable to share. (Ex, making and excessive amount of jokes, even during serious conversations). I love him with all my heart, and he's always told me to have faith, it just all feels like such a double standard.
