Is the game that bad?

I’ve been looking forward to this game for a while and looked at the steam reviews and dear god people are making it sound like hot garbage,could they not have delayed it for an October release to fix some of the ai pathing stuff (that seems like the main problem) I was really looking forward to this game and I don’t want to be disappointed
