Reset back to defaults

Okay, I thought i was going crazy last night. I have a ps5 and a ps5 pro. Ive been playing on the base model for a week and came back to my pro a week later. When logging it, I hear this text to speech effect cone through my ear buds. My game was defaulted? But in a weird way. It kept using text to speech on every option I hover over, and upon entering my ship, I have my level, stats, guns all good there. But my option settings reset to defaults, so I had to redo that...did a mission all good, cool. Next day, its doing it again. I have this dreadful feeling everytime I fire this game up its going to continue. I just uninstall it and am re downloading now....has anybody else experienced this?
