We're Missing the Point About AI in Schools
Everyone is so caught up in the cheating debate that we are forgetting why we are even in college. The goal is to learn how to think, not just how to produce papers. If you use AI to skip the thinking part, you are only hurting yourself in the long run. But if you use AI to handle the boring busywork so you can focus more energy on actually understanding the material, that is a smart move. Professors know the difference between a student who gets it and one who faked it. They have been doing this for years. So instead of trying to hide your AI use or fight your teachers over it, just be honest about what you are using it for. Most professors will respect that and might even help you use it better. The real problem is not AI itself. It is the pressure to get good grades without caring about real learning. Fix that mindset and everything else gets easier.
