Advice on relocating to Glasgow

Hi guys, I have been offered a job in your fine city and was wondering if you guys have any tips for the best areas to live. I will be earning north of 60K and would want a family friendly area with good schools. Am from a multicultural back ground so current reports of issues in that regard are of concern. I have always like Scotland and Scots so its my prefered choice at the moment.

Would like some tips on which areas are best and what life would be like at my current pay level.
