The Single And Happy And Single By Choice Subreddits Are Full Of People That Are Not Happy Single...Why?

General Discussion

I've wanted to create a subreddit or reddit community for truly happy single people (particularly women) for awhile now, which is one of the main reasons I joined reddit. I wanted to offer a different perspective based on my life and experiences and challenge the social norms. However, I constantly see people in those spaces saying the following?

"How do I deal with being single?"

"I'm jealous of my partnered friends."

"I'm lonely."

"How do I get over s*x with my ex?"

"I was browsing dating apps recently..."

"I was talking to this man recently..."

"I hope one day I find my person."

Huh?! Lol! I'm still new to reddit so those of you who are experienced help me understand what's up. Also, I see certain members who joined this new subreddit but don't post here.

How many posters here are actually WOMEN?
