4025QW vs 3926QW

Hi all, another post for the 3926QW but a a little different this time.

I briefly had the LG 40U990A and really loved the 40" 5K2K format and the panel (the same with the 4025), but sent it back over fan noise. Now I'm torn between the Dell 4025QW and the AW 3926QW.

Setup is an mba m5 for work and a PC with a 5080 for gaming. It's 85% work (docs and coding) and 15% gaming, (i also have a c5 connected to the pc on the living room). Note that I want to keep dock and taskbar visible all the time albeit at a low brightness as im sensitive to light (i usually hover around 20%)

The 4025 feels like the sensible choice, and the TB dock is a big plus. However the 3926 is cheaper and tempting, but I've never worked on an OLED so I have no idea what it's actually like day to day. Besides the panel issues which i dont know how profound will be on my working environemnt, I've also seen a few reports of the Alienware not playing well with the macs.

Anyone owned both, or was in a similar situation with IPS vs OLED? Should I stick with IPS for text clarity and peace of mind, or is the OLED fine for this kind of use?
