Delayed items

I have gotten two messages so far about items being delayed or possibly being lost in usps. Has anyone else had this happen and if so did you eventually get your order? I’m pretty new to Vinted, I’ve purchased quite a bit of stuff, until recently I’ve had zero problems receiving packages on time. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if the package is lost forever will the seller even get paid if I get a refund?
