Why Have Facebook Ads Become More Expensive Lately?

Discussion

Lately, when I read discussions about Facebook ads, people seem to be dealing with more than just creatives and audiences. Some are seeing higher CPMs, some are waiting longer for reviews, and others are talking about new payment options. I have also seen people mention stablecoin payments, but I am not planning to change my whole setup just because of that. A new payment option does not automatically make ads perform better, and it does not mean an account will never be restricted. I would rather confirm that the option is actually available for my account before making any changes.

I have had campaigns suddenly become more expensive too. At first, I usually blamed the account or the payment method. Later, I found that the cause could be something completely different. Once, the creative had simply been running for too long. Another time, the ads were getting clicks normally, but a small issue on the checkout page was costing us orders. I have also seen traffic become more expensive for a few days and then settle down again. Because of that, I would test a new payment option with a small budget first instead of moving everything at once. Other people’s results are useful to hear about, but they do not always apply to my account.

The hardest part of Facebook advertising, at least for me, is that there is rarely one clear answer. An ad can work well yesterday and need a closer look today. Instead of reacting to every new update, I prefer to check whether the real change is in the creative, website, account, or traffic. What has been affecting your campaigns most recently? Higher CPM, rising CPA, slower reviews, or payment problems? If a new payment option became available in your region, would you test it with a small budget or stay with the method that has been working for you?
