Is it safe to upgrade to webOS 26 on the LG G4 77-inch?

Hi, I keep receiving repeated notifications about the option to update my 77-inch LG G4 TV to webOS 26.

Is it safe to update? Are there any known bugs, and does the update affect picture quality in any way - positively or negatively?
