Lost 15 kg on Mounjaro in 3 months, now considering switching to semaglutide due to hair loss - looking for experiences

Hi everyone,

I’ve lost around 15 kg in the last 3 months on Mounjaro (from 103 kg to 87 kg), and my goal weight is 78–80 kg.
The weight loss has been great, but over the last few weeks I’ve noticed quite a bit of hair shedding and i hit the plateau. From what I’ve read, it could be related to the rapid weight loss rather than the medication itself.

Because of that, I’m thinking of slowing things down and possibly switching to semaglutide instead of continuing to increase my Mounjaro dose.

I had a couple of questions for those who’ve been through something similar:

If your hair loss was due to rapid weight loss, did it eventually stop? Did your hair grow back while you were still losing weight, or only after your weight stabilized?

Has anyone switched from Mounjaro (tirzepatide) to semaglutide before reaching their goal weight? How did it compare in terms of appetite suppression, food noise, cravings, and overall weight loss?

Were the side effects on semaglutide any worse than what you experienced on tirzepatide?
