Patch notes 08/09/2026: New video model and new interface!
Hello there everyone!
I'm here today to announce some of the latest updates we made (and maintained after checking they work fine)!
This might be a long post so I will just link the obvious one that we already announced a month ago here: New Video Models
1.- Chat Media improvements!
We got some requests to improve the visibility and format of the gallery from each character's chat so we did a rework to that improving both in-site scrolling and downloading the media.
Exporting the media files now works a little different but better even on very large amounts exported, you can start exporting and keep chatting, we will let you know when the download is ready and you can download it on spot or later (you can hold the download for a maximum of 7 days, after that the export will be deleted and you'll have to export again).
You can also filter what gets included in the export by image or video and by date range to.
In the gallery now you will be able to see the images generated during a certain period of time, separated by months and you can now copy the prompt of the images to use them again or on other characters on Pinku!
This features were requested fairly recently and we included them as we thought these were really neat ideas and a big improvement for everyone, so thank you to who brought these forward!
2.- Multiple chats per character!
This despite not looking like a big deal was a hard one to make but now you can have several personalized chats for the same character. So now when you chat with a character with a lot of styles you could for example always use 1 style per chat, or maybe create different scenarios for each instance by using the Chat Context in the character settings, where you can add more characters by describing their personalities and use them in the conversation. You can use it to experiment with the chat context by adding other scenarios or other instructions to see how the AI acts. The new chat models are basically almost super-intelligent so please experiment with everything you can think of, there are no limits until you break it haha.
3.- Pinku AI App!
You can now install Pinku AI as an app (The whole thing, not the tutorials that we already had as an app), No app store needed, this is a browser type app, it will make a shortcut to Pinku. It works on all major browsers like Firefox (the best one ofc, not biased here at all), Chrome, Edge, Safari and others. It works both for desktop and mobile devices though the installation steps can look a little different depending on which one you use.
4.- Improved Chat models!
Yeah, this one I'll keep short, chats are smarter and better overall! I know you all already noticed and wondered what was happening in a positive way when we dropped the update so... there you go, enjoy!
5.- Other noteworthy things:
- Drag and drop chats between categories, it also expands the category if collapsed to that you can see where the character will land.
- Extended chat context from 500 to 1024 to improve role-play and general user experience.
- Background changes for faster and smoother over-all navigation.
We are still working on the user character creator and other major things that we are not ready to share yet! It's better you guys are under-hyped, this way we never disappoint when we drop one of these for free haha
