Why Did You Side with The Crimson Fleet?

Why did you choose to side with the Crimson Fleet?
I was arrested on the spot by Commander Ikande, kicked off his bridge, and thrown in jail. The funny thing is, I was trying to play by the rules.
During the mission at the energy plant on Neon, I went completely non-lethal. I used an EM weapon and didn’t kill a single person. And what did I get for my trouble? Ikande still locked me up and kicked me out of SysDef.
At that point, all I wanted was a little sweet revenge.
So when I finally got the chance, I took over his ship and pumped him full of shells. 😂
