Foundation and powder brushes

I’m looking for good quality makeup brushes. I’ve read a lot about Rae Morris and Westman Atelier brushes for foundation/cream blush. There are so many options and I don’t want to regret buying. I purchased the Rose and Ben D1 brush and it stabs my face.

For powder, Hakuhodo and Sonia G are what I see recommended. I want easy application and an airbrush look.

Any experience with these brands or recommendations appreciated!
