Spontaneous image generation

It really drives me up the wall that Gemini can start generating images at any moment for no reason. And if it does that even once, it’ll keep happening with subsequent replies. So now, a normal conversation always starts with me asking it not to generate an image.

There should be an option in the chat and Gem-bot settings to disable image generation.

The worst thing is when you’ve reached your limit. Every message you send will get just one reply: ‘Limit reached’. Even if image generation hasn’t been discussed in the chat at all. The chat becomes unusable.
