Doctors are so dismissive about taking care of your health

2 years ago I had some blood work come back abnormal, and my primary care physician said it was probably nothing. So I did some blood work, and shrugged it off. This year I've been following up on it to try and see what is causing it. Lightheadedness dizziness pain fatigue upper abdominal pain so much more

Saw a hematologist / oncologist, they said it was a boring case nothing to worry about, everything looks stable for now so nothing to worry about for right now and that was it. No further testing, nothing else to do

So I decided to see a different doctor, gastroenterologist. They found that I have a very enlarged spleen. Again, everything looks stable, don't worry about it, nothing to be concerned about. Just check on it in 6 months and see if it changes.

Lots of these doctors have no interest in diagnosing what is causing your illness. They want to get you out the door and get you the hell out of their way. Like, if I wasn't pushing so hard to have all this testing done, I wouldn't even know that my spleen is enlarged or that I have anything wrong with me. They want you to be literally dying before they try and treat you
