Some investors/users here are so dumb and money-driven (READ DESCRIPTION)
I recently posted on this sub thinking that I'd interact with intellectually and morally reasonable people. I was being honest that my AI startup is currently worth $0, yet some people think that it's really worth nothing just because it's not generating any revenue yet. Stones thrown into the sky may hit those who shouldn’t get angry, but that just goes to show how money-driven some investors and investees here are as if MONEY is the only thing that makes the world go round excluding the usefulness of the product/service. I even explained on my previous post that the startup was still focusing on prototype improvement because I won't sell it to anyone knowing that my service isn't really useful to any customer. Some of you may think that valuation is always important but remember those investors who put their money on Theranos. Some of you will get angry, but some will understand my situation as someone who needs funding in order to improve the product first before letting anyone use it. It's called customer experience NOT investor experience, but surely, SOME investors will think "oh I don't give a shit whether the customer had a bad experience with your product/service, as long as I get double the money I put into it, it's fine! I wanna be fucking rich!". To all investors out here that only care about doubling their money, we're sorry for the loss of your money before, it's not wasted when it was used for a customer-experience failure not a scam one that disguises as something useful when it's not (like Edison blood-testing machine). Every product/prototype undergoes failure at a certain point in life, so all the decisions, lessons, and trusting the process and the people who do it matter more than the money you've lost.
