Why cats cannot be slapped as a method of teaching disclipine/boundaries when they do it to eachother all time?

I've seen a lot of videos of cats slapping everyone when they do something they don't like, especially the other cats. So why we, humans can't do it as well? Doesn't it make the message reach them better with a slap immediately when they did something bad, than ignoring them and not endorsing their playful behaviour as a punishment?

Of course, you can't beat them or harm them in any special way, I talk about mild slap on cats head, doesn't hurt but the message can be understood. And I think you can't slap them at all when time has passed after the incident (they don't understand what they did wrong after time has passed like dogs do, I believe)
