Would it kill Olric to love other stuff?

I know perfect stones and ores etc aren't impossible to find but I really wish he loved one dish at least. It’s that or I make loveable hardboiled eggs. He reminds me of Alex in Stardew, I don’t want to catch salmon or cook breakfast just to win him over so he gets all my eggs.

I don’t play a lot of these games but do they all have that one NPC who’s harder to romance because they have specific tastes?
