Mold in my basement suite. [BC]

I think that there’s mold in the place I just moved into because of my symptoms. I’m allergic to mushrooms/fungi so it’s making the symptoms worse I think. One of my roommates is having symptoms as well, but the other one is mostly okay. I’m not sure how to bring it up to the landlord because getting it tested will cost them money.

Symptoms: persistent headache, cough, chest pain, difficulty breathing, scratchy dry throat, stuffy nose, ear pain etc. all of it gets better when I leave the house and my symptoms keep getting worse.

How do I talk to my landlord, and should I get my other roommate to do it? He’s the one on the lease (I signed a rental agreement) and has been here for a year.
