Finishing help, can I darken wood already treated with Hardwax oil?

I've been finishing some spruce tongue and groove with Osmo Poly X tints in honey and it hasn't come out as dark/rich as I would have liked. I've applied 2 coats already.

I'd really like to avoid sanding back and starting again with a different product. Is there anything I can add to achieve a richer darker look to the wood that I've already coated with Hardwax oil? Or would more coats help? I was hoping for a deeper reddish colour, similar to older antique furniture.
