Driving time from South Lake Tahoe to SFO

Hi all, quick question from an out-of-towne: I am currently in South Lake Tahoe and will need to catch a flight at SFO (1:30 pm departure) on a weekday this week. I am unfamiliar with the traffic patterns along this drive. Google Maps suggests a 5-hr drive time but also mentions road closures on Route 50.

My question is, will 5 hrs be indeed enough, or should I add a safety margin? We have a 3-yo with us so getting up super-early can be a bit of a challenge. Thanks for any wisdom you can share!
