Remember when she impulsively was going to get a dog?

I wonder if she told the kids they were getting one? Raising their hopes just to drop them down forcefully.
In a comment one time I told her that she should get a Doberman , one that she can train really well and make it do whatever she wants, and she said that she “would never touch a dog”.
