The 10 second habit that fixed more than my morning routine ever did
Before reacting to anything mildly annoying a slow reply, a rude comment, a delay I started asking one question first: will this matter in a week? Not “should I be upset,” just that one factual check. Most of the time the honest answer is no, and the reaction just deflates on its own without needing to be suppressed or managed. The stuff that survives the question (rare) actually gets my full attention instead of getting lost in ten other things I was mad about that didn’t deserve it. Simple to the point of feeling dumb, but it’s done more for me than any actual routine I’ve tried.
