Fitness Coach on Forerunner 965?

Is there any chance Fitness Coach will come to 965? Or after release of 970 new features for 965 are basically dead?

I bought 965 a month ago, not knowing about Fitness Coach. Just learned it exists and could be useful to me, but also learned it's not available on my watch despite it looks like a purely software feature.

How was it historically? Do new Garmin models kill updates to previous ones? I'm coming from Samsung Watch, so I have no knowledge on this.
