Is our relationship good. Enough
Hi everyone,
I’m Italian and I’m about to marry my partner, who is a UK citizen. We’re both quite young and have been studying in different cities/countries, so our relationship has mostly been long-distance and we haven’t had the opportunity to live together yet.
We talk every day and have done throughout our relationship. We also try to see each other as often as we can, usually every month or two, and we’ve taken several trips together.
After we get married, we’re planning to apply for a UK spouse visa so that we can finally live together in the UK.
I’m a little worried about proving that our relationship is genuine because we haven’t lived together before. We can provide things like photos together, flight/train tickets, hotel/trip bookings, evidence of our visits, and messages/call history showing that we communicate daily.
For anyone who has been through the UK spouse visa process, does this sound like enough evidence of a genuine relationship? Has anyone successfully applied in a similar situation where you were young, long-distance, and hadn’t lived together before getting married?
Any advice on what evidence we should focus on would be really appreciated. Thank you!
