Fidelity ROTH IRA for dummies help needed. Class A (1277) - im paying someone apparently ?

Hi all,

My parents opened a Roth IRA for me when I was 16. I started contributing here and there at 18, and have been consistently contributing monthly since I was 24. It was $50-$100/month for a few years, and now I’m at $150-$200/month. I have $25,000 in the account and I am 33.

All I know how to do is edit the amount that I’m contributing and check my account.

I have “Fidelity Advisor New Insights Fund - Class A (1277)” account which on paper I have been pretty happy with (but what do I know??) however after light research I found out that apparently I pay someone a commission every time I contribute to manage these funds?

My question is - is it worth it to stay in this kind of fund for someone like me who has literally zero knowledge of how this works? Or should I meet with someone and look at other options?

Please help guide me on what I should consider as my next steps. This is all a foreign language to me.
