I’m in Shared Care Limbo.

Shared Care Agreements

Harrow Health sent a shared care request to my GP;

GP says what Harrow Health have put forward does not constitute shared care because HH says that I will be “discharged” to GP;

GP asks HH for clarification i.e. ‘will the care actually be shared?’;

“Harrow Health are stating that their clinical team "hand back" to the patient GP after initiation and 3 titration appointments.  Again, they have not clarified that they keep you on as a patient.” - GP

HELP! Wtf can I do in this situation? GP won’t accept the agreement until what HH puts forward actually constitutes shared care, but HH haven’t actually offered any clarification.

It’s useless ringing HH because all that any of their call handlers ever do is fill out a form for someone to ‘look at it’.

This is made so much worse by their ridiculous wait for prescriptions. My first post-titration prescription took nearly two full weeks from request submission to receipt. On the phone I was told that they have a long waiting list because of so many denied shared care requests. I wonder why!! I’ve put my “low on medication” request in 10 days in advance this time and I bet I’ll still have to chase them for it.
