Scheduling a friendly over a training day: What happens to uncalled players? FM24

Hey everyone. Let's say I have regular group training sessions scheduled for a specific day. I decide to arrange a friendly on that exact same day to give my backups some match practice, and I completely leave my starting XI out of the matchday squad.

My question is about those uncalled starters: what do they actually do on that day? Do they automatically get a "Super Rest" (because the friendly overwrites the group training sessions for the whole team and they aren't playing), or do they somehow still complete the training sessions that were originally scheduled before I added the friendly?

Just wondering if the game gives them a full day off automatically, or if I still need to manually right-click and "Rest" them to guarantee full recovery. Don't know if anyone has ever tested this, haven't been able to find info on this. Thanks!
