Apex 4, Nomad, or wait for a new release?
Hi everyone! I'm looking to buy a Coros watch and I'm torn between the Apex 4, the Nomad, or simply waiting for a future release.
I’d love your input based on my setup and concerns:
- Main use: Police/Military work, so it must be durable and rugged.
- Sports: Running, swimming, HIIT/strength training, hiking, and long routes/ultras.
- Display & Visibility: I strongly prefer MIP over AMOLED. However, I’m a bit hesitant about the Apex 4 because the Sapphire glass makes the screen look slightly less crisp compared to the Nomad.
- Battery Life: Maximum battery capacity is crucial for me during ultra-distance activities and long outdoor shifts.
- The flashlight factor: My current watch has a built-in LED flashlight, which I use constantly. I’d love for my next watch to have one if Coros drops a model with it soon.
Which one would you choose? Is it worth waiting to see if Coros introduces an integrated flashlight? Thanks in advance!
