I shouldn't have gone to the lab alone, even if I loved the outcome, even if every change that had been forced onto my body by... whatever it was I had found, had felt like pure... pleasure that feeling myself.. aging, my body cracking and shifting, made me shiver in delight. That falling to the floor, and watching my chewed down nails grow as the anxiety that had lead to them being that was flushed from my system had been nothing short of… liberation.

I could admit going alone was an error.

It could have proven my breaking, rather than my.. making.

What had caused it? I'd only understand later. As I moved through the lab, I had knocked down an old container, something left behind by mistake.

The Gay Bomb

An old idea to turn soldiers homosexual during combat. It had never gone anywhere really. Brenner thought it a dead end, but as I crashed down, it made contact with the sludge Vecna had left behind from his attack into our world. And suddenly.. it became something else. Something potent. After all.. the upside down knew everything about our world, deep in it's memory. It knew that Gay People were a target to many. It was a fact. And once fused with something that was designed to make people that.. the results were.. predictable. The tendril was now gay, and wanted to spread out. Make other things gay. To do that it needed a host. Just as Vecna had been one on the other side.

I had been trying to leave, thing my break in a waste of time when it lept into my body. Fusing with it. Turning me. Oh how I had screamed! As it made me what I was meant to be.
