First time Stamp 1G application

Hey everyone. Apologies if this question has been asked before. (I did search whether the question was posted in this sub, but couldn't find it).

My final degree grade results come out on 14th Sept. I was told that I can apply for 1G after that.

My question is,

do I need to wait for the Parchment from the uni. Or is the results that come out on 14th sufficient to submit?

Also, my travel insurance expires in Dec 2026. When applying for 1G will I need to renew insurance for another year and then apply?
