Paternity leave in uk ..

Just a rant

2 weeks leave for dads in the Uk for paternity is pathetic. We be used the 2 weeks plus 3 weeks AL and it’s still not enough. My poor wife is left with the baby for ten hours straight and she is struggling . I love her and the baby so much . I take the baby from her when I finish my ten hours shift for 6 hours so she can rest so I’m basically getting no sleep.

Lack of sleep will lead to medical issues mental and physical for both of us and then we take sick leave . Vicious circle but why as we so far behind some other European countries in this.

I know this is a pointless post but just getting it off my chest
