[KCD1] Made a mistake of playing kcd2 before kcd1

I just unlocked the 2nd map of kcd2 but it felt like i missed out of the storyline from the first game so i played kcd2. But wow the combat is a lot more difficult compared to the 2nd franchise but that is not my main problem.

My problem is the menus feel a little janky, and controls are terrible. it’s probably just on console but I can’t even sprint while looking around which is insanely stupid for a 2018 game. And maybe it’s just me but the save system is so inconsistent. There are times that I would save and quit and when i load into the game, it would take me back to the previous auto save not the time that i saved it. It’s so frustrating because I would often get stuck and have to load the latest manual save. Yes I know what savior schnapps are for but that doesn’t mean the manual save shouldn’t work properly lol especially when it’s just the start of the game

Absolutely LOVE the storyline but the game controls are so terrible and I’m glad they improved it a lot on the second game. Cant wait to finish this but I know it’s gonna be frustrating lol
