In search of job suggestion needed where and how to start

Actually i have already started searching for a job. I have 2 years of experience working in a company and still working there. My target companies for job search are jp morgan, HSBC, citi, EY, Big 4s.. Should i start applying or should i go through reference? If i apply and get rejected will they accept my application if i try through reference again? Someone please help me what to do. Should i talk to people working there and then apply? I really need to find a stable job rn.. . Please help
