Meeting someone a busy dad. What worked for you?

I’m a busy dad. 50/50 custody. I have my kids thru Saturday one week and thru Sunday the next. I play in multiple bands. I cannot fathom living with a partner again, having someone become my kids stepmom or being a stepdad to someone else’s kids. At the same time I miss some companionship. Miss some intimacy. I’d love to see someone who understands this even though my time is limited. I met someone a year ago who’s schedule doesn’t really line up with mine. She’s pretty unavailable herself but we seem to get in some casual fun every few weeks, which is honestly perfect for my situation but sometimes I’m left missing that emotional connection.

I’ve discovered despite being this busy I can find potential dates left and right on hinge and FB dating but finding someone who’s okay with dating a busy guy has been rough. I’ve got no desire to date these “be ready to travel anywhere in the word tomorrow” and “I live on Starbucks and golden retrievers” girls on hinge. Have any of you busy dads found better luck in Tinder or maybe out in the real world?
