Mods not working?

I may be stupid because it's my second time using Steam Workshop to install mods, but none of my mods is working? I have downloanded cc, different cards, and different colours for cards and none of them is working (i checked, none mentioned having to be moved, put in different folder and the comments from like, this week for most of them mention that teh mod is working just fine). The game (the mod control panel) shows them as active and downloaded; mods in general are enabled too, but when I try to play, none of them is there, and idk what to do - did I forget to turn on something somewhere else, should I unpack the mods from their folders, rename folders, or put them in some other folders? When I modded other games, there were no problems, so idk if the issue is with Paralives mods or the game or what.
