Infosys Bangalore DOJ on 14th September – Induction/Onboarding Query

Hi everyone,

My Date of Joining (DOJ) with Infosys is 14th September 2026, and my joining location is Bangalore.

I’m not sure whether 14th September (Ganesh Chaturthi) is a holiday for Infosys Bangalore or whether onboarding/induction will still take place that day.

I have already received the accommodation email, but I’m still waiting for the induction/onboarding email.

For those who have recently joined Infosys, could you please clarify:

- Does Infosys Bangalore observe Ganesh Chaturthi as a holiday?

- If the DOJ falls on a holiday, is the joining date usually postponed or does it remain the same?

- Will induction happen on the same day, or on the next working day?

- How close to the DOJ did you receive your induction/onboarding email?

Any information from recent joiners, especially those who joined in Bangalore, would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!
