Why do you all really think that Devious Duo will be alive???

Spoiler:SpokeIsHere: Spoke

I often see comments like "Damn, they became so friends during the video, I thought they were friends again now😔 and I'm so sick of Mapicc getting offended"

First: all the recent meetings between Mapicc and Spoke were built on the same principle: enmity-condescension-enmity. First Mapicc attacks him, then Spoke manages to lure him to his side and they fool around, and then Mapicc abandons him again. That's what happened in Purgatory, that's how it was in Arena, and that's how it was in Underworld.

Each time there was a reason for Mapicc to turn his back on Spoke, and the fact that he met him with a fight again each time makes it clear that he does not want to forgive and forget at all.

Second: This time, Mapicc listened in silence to Naeum and Spoke for just a few minutes in a row about why he came here in the first place. He said several times that he wanted to decipher the Jamato book, talked about how much he cares about power and Null.

NATURALLY, MAPICC REALIZED THAT COMING BACK TO UNDERWORLD FOR HIM WASN'T AT THE TOP OF SPOKE'S PRIORITIES AT ALL.

And Third: why do people forget that Jumper, Minutetech, and Mapicc all have a reason to do what they do to Spoke?? They have turned against him for a reason, they are not just trying to fight him back or ruin his plans. It should be a complex story in which there is no black and white. A complex story about a paranoid man who looks for enemies in everyone and his friends.

A moment with repetitive enmity-friendship-enmity plot moves in the Devious Duo arc can be called an irritating detail of the script.

But if I try to explain this, then I think that the person who writes the plot wants to show us how difficult it is to give up someone familiar and dear in your life and how a person ultimately stands at a crossroads. Continue to fight against someone or indulge in fond memories of a time when you were on the same side of the barricades.

Another point is whether it is well shown...., but most of the fandom basically does not want to analyze Mapicc's character further than just his friendship with Spoke.

Spoke's POV greatly reduces the potential depth of Mapicc char. This is my opinion.

But fandom shouldn't make things worse at all by reducing Mapicc's motivation to "he betrayed him", oka?

Thank you for reading!
