hey everyone,

as i’ve taken on more brand deals, i kept running into two really annoying admin headaches that were low-key costing me money:

1. **unpaid invoices:** brands letting net-30 turn into net-60 or net-90 simply because nobody was chasing them down.
2. **expired usage rights:** brands keeping my video running as an ad way past the agreed 30 or 60 days, and me missing out on licensing renewal fees just because i forgot when the usage period actually ended.

i didn't want to pay for a bloated $30/mo tool or fiddle around with messy excel sheets, so i spent an afternoon whipping up a lightweight deal tracker in notion.

kept the layout super minimal:

* metric bar up top to see total pipeline value and unpaid money at a glance
* an overdue payments section that flags invoices past their due date
* a renewal alert section that shows usage rights expiring in the next 30 days so i know when to pitch an extension
* a simple action board to track who holds the ball (me vs brand vs agency)

i attached a few screenshots of how it looks!

for anyone here managing sponsorships regularly: does this hit the main pain points, or is there a crucial deal stage/metric you think is missing? would love any feedback on the setup!

got tired of losing money on unpaid invoices and forgotten usage rights, so i built a simple notion deal tracker. would love some honest feedback!
