Psychoanalysis of forsen doing the kitten thing

The underlying theory here is: we all trend towards homeostasis and a baseline.

forsen has always portrayed himself as a very stoic, emotionless, reactionless character, and it follows that he'd have a lack of interest in other things.

He probably does not have a very active social life. Why is that important? Because the less of a diversified social life you have, the more significant each portrayal of yourself will be.

You perceive yourself through your own actions, and your identity becomes more solidified based on you observing yourself doing the same things and having the same expressions.

However, since forsen keeps the same persona on stream all the time, and these same six daily hours probably represent a majority of his social life, the reactionless, emotionless persona he needed to create in his HS days, and continue having in order to maintain his audience, gathers as his perceived identity as a result.

Which, in turn, creates the shadow: all the natural lovingness, emotiveness, kindness, empathy, gets rejected and inevitably grows into the Jungian archetype of the shadow.

As time goes on, this shadow takes on a life of its own: forsen suddenly expresses a caring for innocent life, and an empathic side that doesn't really match up with our perceived image of him. It comes out of nowhere.

Except it was always there: "unless you make the unconscious conscious, it will govern your life, and you will call this fate" - Carl Jung.
