Halo is supporting the rescue of five Moon Bears from South Korea
A slightly different Halo update, but one I thought was worth sharing.
Halo is supporting the project to bring five rescued Moon Bears from South Korea to their new home at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park in Suffolk.
The bears spent more than 20 years confined on a bear bile farm but have now been cleared by vets to travel. A purpose-built woodland reserve is waiting for them, although the campaign is still raising money to complete the remaining work and cover their specialist transport.
It is a genuinely good cause and a rather different use of Halo’s reach within the community.
