Parents of babies who sleep in strollers – does your baby wake up when the stroller stops moving? (Parents of children aged 0–2)
Hi everyone!
I’m doing some research into how babies sleep in strollers, and I’m trying to understand how common a particular problem actually is.
If you have a baby now, or have recently had one, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience:
Does/did your baby need the stroller to be moving to fall asleep?
Would they wake up or become unsettled when the stroller stopped?
If so, what did you do? Start walking again, rock the stroller back and forth, move it by hand, etc.?
How long would you typically have to keep doing this?
How often did this happen?
How frustrating or exhausting was it for you?
Have you tried a product such as Rockit, Sleepytroll, or another automatic stroller rocker?
If you have, did it actually work? What did you like or dislike about it?
I’m not selling or promoting anything. I’m genuinely trying to understand the problem and what parents currently do to deal with it.
Experiences from parents who didn’t have this problem are also really useful.
Thanks! 🙂
