Why do I manifest everything around what I want, but never the exact thing?

A lot of times, I’ve noticed something really weird happening with me. Whenever I try to manifest something, almost immediately, something related to it shows up-but never the exact thing I actually want. Why does that happen?

For instance, was manifesting meeting someone on a particular day but instead of that person I bumped into his family with no signs of that person being there…
