I accidentally washed my earpiece

So I forgot to take out my earpiece and placed my jeans in the washing machine. It came out and I let it dry for an hour and luckily, for some reason it still works, more clearer now. It smells great to. Should I continue washing or should I wait longer to wait for it to dry?
