Sorry for double post, Reddit posting is not a strength of mine.

Been struggling with mental health for a while.

Finally decided after a particularly bad day last week to finally get the help I need. Was pursuing a long term intensive outpatient program at the request of my doctor and partner but really couldn’t pursue further until the end of the holiday weekend. Yesterday I woke up to an empty house and a packed bag. I was asked to leave by some friends and give my partner (of over 10 years) some space. This all occurred over the space of a few days, but I’m guessing there’s something that’s been going on for a while I’m unaware or failed to see. I just want to go home and make sure my parter is safe and be with them.

I’m afraid I’m the bad guy and don’t realize it.

Im safe and not a danger to myself, have a good system of people around me making sure I get what I need. But regardless of that I’m feeling pretty isolated and vulnerable and even more than that Im afraid I hurt my partner in some way that I’m unaware of. They finally spoke with me but won’t even tell me what’s going on. Not sure what advice, if any, I’m looking for…maybe I just want to know there’s other people who have made it through something like this.

Woke up to a packed bag and empty house.
